Because my slipcovers are custom fitted, I will need the furniture on hand to complete your project. Larger pieces, like sofas, I will work on-site for a custom "pin-fit".
Pin-fit/pick up/deliveries fees may apply.
You will need to contact me to determine your quote. You can send me pictures with basic dimensions to help determine labor costs and fabric yardage. Or we can schedule a quick consultation free of charge within 30 mins from me (TCU area).
You will be added to my wait list. When your fabric is ready, we will set a date for pick up or on-site "pin-fit". This is on a first come, first serve basis. The fabric will need to be pre washed (prior to construction) if you are planning to wash them in the future.
My favorite fabrics for slips are: linen, cotton, denim, twill, duck cloth/canvas. 8-14 oz. and at least 54" in width are most suited for slips that will last. Using upholstery fabrics are great options too, as long as they have good drape, not too heavy, and cover the upholstery underneath. (These can be dry cleaned.) I can order in basic washable fabrics listed above and also have a great selection of Revolution Performance Fabrics I have grown to love.
ABOUT
Hi! I have been sewing and creating for as long as I can remember. I am very fortunate to learn how to sew from my mother, who made most of our clothes growing up. I was always fascinated with how she would create her own patterns and whip up matching outfits for herself, my sister and I. I have been truly inspired by her creativity and hard work ethic.
In my late 20's, I apprenticed under the "Guru of Slipcovers", Elaine Hertlein, for seven years. From her, I learned the tricks of the trade that led me to become my own boss. Since 2001, I have worked for great clients and designers that helped me grow my business and creativity.
I recently moved back to my Texas roots and am excited about expanding my business in the
Fort Worth Metro area. Whether it's giving a piece of older furniture new life, preserving an heirloom, or making your outdoor space fun and functional, I'm your gal to call.
